Most of us in the team would like to figure out if there are tools that can help to measure UX. We were hoping that more tools may pop up so that we can learn more.
Before we use any tools, we shall first established what goals do we wish to accomplished. Examples of goals can be:
- Targeted % of users who can complete a key journey
- Which are the key features has the highest frequency of use?
- Which are the features that are left out by 80% of users.
These are the basic tools that our group sharing session summarised:
These are tools that can be used to have reports on users journey, time spend, hit map, drop off point etc.
- Google Analytics
- A/B testing – compare the results of 2 user experiences to established point of reference and to find out which one can better satisfy our goals.
Interview- All users about their experience
Thinking aloud – Listening to users on what is on their mind when they walk though the User Interface.
Monitor reaction via face monitoring software – like a frown or a smile.
Video recording – To recognised patterns and reactions.
Besides the above, the group also shared about 2 tools that reduce to time needed to create Prototype so that we can do more testing.
